Captain Oblivious - A New Low

We have friends staying with us for a couple of days. They have a daughter who is about 6 weeks younger than Anna. Tonight, Rachel was in the bathroom. I asked her to finish up as she had called out that she was done. Since Rachel had declined to close the door, neither G's mother nor myself was too concerned when G wandered in to the bathroom.

We continued chatting out in the living room until both G's mother and myself simultaneously realized that there was a sound coming from the bathroom that sounded an awful lot like splashing!

We raced to the bathroom, where I found Rachel STILL SITTING ON THE TOILET as G splashed happily right behind her in the toilet water.

I'm not sure what's funnier - that G was splashing in the toilet, or that Rachel was totally oblivious to the whole thing.

In other news, the experiment of putting both Anna and G to bed in the same room was an epic failure. But at this present moment, all is quiet in the house, except for the sounds of four people typing on computers!
