I debated deleting the previous post, but I'm choosing to leave it up for now. In case anyone is curious and I didn't mention it before, the company is AAMCO. I'd stay away.
Ben called this morning to argue about the charges. The guy said he'd look into it and get back to us. He called back and said "he realized his techs could have done some things differently" and he'll drop the price by $250. That still puts us over where he quoted, but not unreasonably so. Ben did leave a message for head office though - he'd already left the message before the local guy got back to him. That's fine with me if head office gets into it. I'd have gone with Honda if I'd known that this guy would not be honorable.
