Yesterday afternoon, Rachel really wanted to sit down at the piano and teach us the 26 songs she's putting together for her special play in which I am apparently playing the piano while Ben conducts the rest of the orchestra. Some of the songs have words and some do not. I apologize for the shaky camera in the video - we were laughing too hard to hold it steady!
This play involves a princess, queen and king. One of the songs was called "Too flippy for the king" and was about the king and his pancake that was too flippy.
The song in the video was called "Haircut, Haircut". Lyrics by Rachel:
"Haircut, haircut, the princess got a haircut!
Hilarious laughing was all around!
But when she knew it she couldn't help
throwing her ball and hitting the queen by help!"
After all, nobody said modern music had to make sense.
