"You can't be too hungry or too dirty for your first piano recital!" we were informed at dinner tonight. Good thing that Rachel liked her dinner and is now in the bathtub.
In about an hour, she has her first performance at Village Shalom. She's pretty excited about it, and it's very fun to see this from the perspective of parent instead of teacher! I used to giggle when I'd see parents making their students pose by the piano after the recital, and now I'm planning my own photo shots. Ha! (Sue, if you're reading this, stop laughing at me. And yes, Ben plans to video the whole thing!)
