It's June! It's June! It's June!

A friend commented to me that hopefully June would be a better month than May was for us this year. So far I'd say it's holding true.

Yesterday - the last day of May - we discovered that the university didn't deposit Ben's last pay. However, we have yet to pay them back either so hopefully they're figuring it all out. Ben left messages for people and is waiting for them to return his calls. We also discovered that the movers apparently refunded HALF of the amount that they initially had told us would be refunded. Again, we are playing phone tag.

Cell phone tag is expensive. With any luck we will have a real phone on Tuesday. (Stop it! I can hear all of you laughing!)

However, today - the first day of June - we got our apartment deposit cheque back along with an unexpected refund from our insurance company in London since our home insurance ended up being cheaper than previously expected. We also got TWO packages in the mail & Rachel had a great time at the gym class we tried out.

Here's to the blue moon... may it be an end to the craziness!
