Ben just called Hertz to find out where the e-mail of our invoice was. Apparently they heard Ben spell out f-e-s-t-i-zee-o instead of f-e-s-t-i-v-o. Now just think - if only Americans knew how to really prounounce the last letter of the alphabet, we wouldn't have had this problem!
It will apparently still be a week or so before the Hertz accounting department gets around to contacting us regarding our issue.
In other news, Rachel's new bed doesn't actually fit together. As far as we can tell, the headboard should be able to be screwed onto the frame. Too bad the holes in the headboard are a couple of inches higher than the frame. We've called the store and they are trying to figure this one out. The store is in St. Catharines. The bed is in London. I really hope they don't try to tell us that we need to bring the bed back to them. That just would not go over well right now.
