Rachel is very excited about lighting the candles in her hanukkiah (menorah for Hanukkah - yes, there are about a billion different spellings of all these words.). It was a tough sell convincing her that we could only put in Mr. Shamash (helper candle) and one other candle for the first night of Hanukkah.
She is currently in the bath. A few minutes ago, Rachel was licking my hand for some unknown reason. I calmly explained that we do not lick people, we lick food. Her response?
"I don't want to lick you! I want to lick pretzels!!!!" (said in a very whiny voice)
